Interesting Fact:
 The event is one of the "Little Two" music festivals in Ireland, sharing most of it's acts with Castlepalooza, which is held during the same weekend. Most of the acts that play both festivals are local Irish bands.

Interesting Fact:
 In 2003, The Flaming Lips were stepped up the bill on the Sunday to replace The White Stripes (cancelled due to frontman Jack White suffering a broken hand). Included in their set was a version of The White Stripes' hit "Seven Nation Army".

Other:   
In 2004, Guinness were replaced by Heineken as sponsors, and the festival continued as before at Punchestown, changing its name to "Oxegen".
